At Plafötsch, we enjoy the mountains without complications. As every one of our natural wood rooms is equally dear to us, we offer a single unified price for your stay - no matter which room you choose. Depending on the size of your group, we will select the most suitable room for you.
Overnight Stay with Half Board
- Price per person / night: €90 (valid for all room types: single, double, triple, or quadruple rooms)
Tourist Tax
The tourist tax (local tax) amounts to €2.90 per person per night for guests aged 14 and over and is charged at the end of your stay. It will be listed separately on your invoice. The revenue from this tax supports local tourism organisations and IDM, and is mandatory for all accommodation providers.
Our Inclusive Services
- Enjoyment: a rich mountain breakfast and an evening menu from our hut kitchen.
- Comfort: overnight stay in a solid wood room including bed linen, hand and shower towels, and soap.
- Service: cosy wool blankets available on request for the night.
- Experience: exclusive peace and seclusion in the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park.
Extras and Additional Services
- Short Stays: for stays of up to 4 nights, a surcharge of €5 per person per night applies (also valid for children’s rates).
- Mountain Benefit: enjoy a €4 discount per person per night for stays of 7 nights or more and for bookings made at least 60 days prior to arrival (also valid for children’s rates).
- Tourist Tax & Mobility: as our guest, you receive the South Tyrol Guest Pass—your ticket for free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol.
Environment
As we strive to be a positive force for the environment, waste separation is very important in our hut. By correctly sorting waste, you help conserve valuable resources and protect the environment.
Children’s Prices & Family Service
We look forward to welcoming little explorers! Our reduced fixed children’s rates (including half board) apply when staying in the parents’ room with two fully paying adults:
- 0 to 2 years: Free of charge (in your own travel cot)
- 2 to 5 years: 50% discount (€45 incl. half board)
- 5 to 12 years: 20% discount (€72 incl. half board)
- From 12 years: Full price (€90 incl. half board)
Additional Service for Little Guests
- Baby Comfort Package: on request, we are happy to provide a baby cot with cosy sleeping setup (pillow & blanket), fresh bed linen, and a baby monitor (€7 per night).
- Special Offer "Family Nest" (in parents’ bed): if your little ones aged 2 to 5 do not require their own bed and prefer to sleep in the parents’ bed, we charge only a food allowance of €30 per night including half board.
Payment
The invoice is issued at the end of your stay and can be paid in cash or by card. Part payment by bank transfer before arrival is also possible.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are never pleasant - for you or for us. It is a pity when we cannot welcome you and the room remains empty, even though other guests would have gladly booked it. Therefore, we kindly ask you to inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to travel.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Up to 15 days before arrival: 40% of the total price
- 14 to 8 days before arrival: 60% of the total price
- 7 days to 1 day before arrival: 75% of the total price
- In case of no-show, late arrival, or early departure: 100% of the total price will be charged
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
