Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park

Right next to our hut, a hiking trail passes by—an open invitation to explore the Schlern–Rosengarten Nature Park step by step. Whether you are drawn up to the neighbouring alpine huts or prefer a gentle walk through mountain meadows, the path sets the rhythm.

Planning the Day Together

In the morning, over breakfast, we can take it easy and figure out what you feel like doing that day. If you enjoy the quieter moments of the mountains, we are happy to share our personal favourite spots with you—the hidden corners and peaceful trails you won’t find on any map. Together, we’ll find the route that best suits your mountain experience.

When the Mountain Calls

Planning a longer tour with an early start, for example to catch the first hiking bus at Nigerstraße? Then it’s best we sit down together the evening before.

For early risers, we are happy to prepare everything on request: your breakfast will be waiting in the dining room, and coffee will be ready in a thermos flask. As we care deeply about the rest and relaxation of all our guests, we appreciate a quiet and considerate atmosphere in the early morning.

A Promise to Nature

These special places are precious. We share our tips with people who, like us, have deep respect for flora and fauna. We walk as quiet visitors, leaving nothing behind but our footprints.

Well Connected in the Nature Park

So your car can also take a holiday: the hiking bus stop at Nigerstraße is the ideal starting point for longer tours in the Schlern–Rosengarten area.

  • Your advantage: With the South Tyrol Guest Pass (included in your tourist tax), you can use the bus completely free of charge.
  • Tip: We are happy to plan your connection together the evening before during a relaxed chat (current timetables at www.suedtirolmobil.info/en).

South Tyrol Guest Pass

Travel free by bus and train throughout South Tyrol.

The guest card, valid for 7 days, allows you to use all public transportation (bus and train) across South Tyrol at no extra cost.

If you prefer a more elegant or more concise version, I can refine the wording further.

The following services are included:

  • All shuttle buses in the Dolomites region Alpe di Siusi (excluding lines 10, 11, and 12)
  • Regional and regional express trains within South Tyrol and to Trento: from Brennero to Trento and from Malles to San Candido
  • Local public buses (city buses, regional buses, and city shuttles)
  • Cable cars Renon–Bolzano, Colle–Bolzano, Meranza–Rio Pusteria, Meltina–Vilpiano/Terlano, and Verano–Postal
  • The Renon narrow-gauge railway and the Mendola funicular railway
  • One round trip with PostAuto Switzerland between Malles and Müstair (CH)
  • Discount on the Combi Card, Nordic Pass, and Seiser Alm Card Gold (discount: 3 in 7 and 7 days = €2.00; 14 days = €4.00)

Important:

  • The Guest Pass is not valid on the following routes: Alpe di Siusi Express (Line 10), Almbus (Line 11), Saltria–Monte Pana (Line 12), and Nightliner (N170).
  • First name, last name, and length of stay must be entered on the back of the pass.
  • The Guest Pass must be validated for each individual journey when using shuttle buses or regular bus services.

The South Tyrol Guest Pass is valid for the duration of your stay. For stays longer than one week, an additional pass will be issued. The Guest Pass is personal and non-transferable and must be validated each time it is used. Dogs do not receive a Guest Pass and must pay the regular fare on buses within the public transport network; however, dogs may travel free of charge on the shuttle buses of the Dolomites region Alpe di Siusi. If, after validation, the Guest Pass shows the imprint “illegible,” it remains valid for that day.
