You can conveniently park your car on Nigerstraße (parking area at the Plafötsch bus stop – GPS coordinates UTM: 46.468498, 11.578418).
From there, a well-maintained hiking trail leads you directly to our doorstep in about 40 minutes.
If you arrive by hiking bus, simply get off at the Plafötsch stop and follow the signs.

Plafötsch is located where everyday life in the valley is left behind. As there is no public road leading to us, your holiday begins with a short hike - the perfect introduction to the silence of the mountains.

We invite you to leave the “unnecessary” in the valley. Arriving feels best when you start your holiday with just a small backpack containing the essentials you need right away. This allows you to walk the first part of your journey up to us in a light and carefree way.

Planning to stay with us for a week or longer?
We are happy to assist you with transporting your remaining luggage, by prior arrangement. Please understand that we integrate this service sustainably into our daily routine - we are not a shuttle service, but adapt to the rhythm and needs of the mountain.
Often, the easiest solution is to arrive relaxed first, and then collect your remaining luggage from the parking area together at a later time.
Our Tip
Less is more
Modern functional clothing dries quickly. For small laundry needs, a wash basin and detergent are available. Your clothes can dry on our clothesline in the fresh mountain air - simple luxury that brings you even closer to nature.
